Nocturnal Entertainment Australia has announced the release of Catapult V1.21b.
Catapult is a complete development system for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) -
this version has significant improvements :
- the first fully featured release (all demo restrictions are removed).
- new language commands and editor features.
- new Copter game, with complete source.
- revamped GBA engine (interpreted scripts replaced by compiled scripts) - runs 20x faster!
- new 'Export' system and pricing model.
- includes the latest ROM samples.
Additionally, a demo competition has been launched. The challenge is to make a game or demo using Catapult - the closing date is the 15th of May.
There are over $1700 worth of prizes - first prize is $200 plus a 'Export Unlimited' version of Catapult (total value of $1400).
