IGDA Melbourne are having a double header for the next monthly meet-up on Tuesday, next week.
Just released on iOS and Android is Pocket Dogfights by Melbourne indie games developer, Rob Caporetto.
The development of Pocket Dogfights started in late 2011, from a period when Rob was working on a bunch of small game prototypes in his spare time. Finding this one to be the most fun, he started developing it further during his downtime from a day job.
Rob will be talking all about Pocket Dogfights and the valubale lessons he's learnt during its development. Pocket Dogfights looks to be a Time-Pilot-ish arcade shooter with WWII era planes and some huge bossfights thrown in for good measure. It looks great, so be sure to check it out at www.pocketdogfights.com and have a bunch of questions prepared for Rob next week!
The 2013 Games Developer Conference recently wrapped up in San Francisco, and IGDA Melbourne event organiser, Giselle, has returned with a whole lot of stuff to share and discuss with the rest of the Melbourne games community. Don't miss out on your opportunity to give some valuable input!
Be at the 1000 Pound Bend on Tuesday 9, April from 6.30pm, and check yourselves in at the Facebook event page now!
