(Press Release)
29th July 2010 – Freeplay Independent Games Festival announces Freeplay Awards Finalists!
Since submissions opened in June, Freeplay organisers were swamped with a massive amount of entries for all the categories. With many submissions coming from overseas, the Freeplay judges added an extra category, Best International Game.
“We were pleasantly surprised at the large number and high quality of the entries,” said Mark Flanagan, one of the Freeplay judges. “It meant a lot of work, and it was difficult to choose winners, but we didn’t mind at all because the games were so entertaining to play.”
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Freeplay Independent Games Festival, on Sunday 15th August.
