Games developers!! If you haven't checked out our Developer Services page, I highly recommend having a look to see what's available. We've got some really incredible world class locally-based audio services listed there, and all of them want to work with you! They include:
- Emily Industries (Brütal Legend, Costume Quest, BioShock)
- Kpow Audio (LA Noire, The Banner Saga)
- Resonance array (original music for Terraria)
...and a whole lot more. They're all great. Feel free to listen to a whole bunch of tracks they've released which we've listed from Soundcloud.
The latest addition to our growing list is Soundplay Interactive. Recently launched by Qantm College Melbourne graduate, Trevor Dikes, Soundplay Interactive has the backing of the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) which many businesses and the likes of local games developers such as Halfbrick Studios, 3 Blokes Studios, PlayBit Entertainment started out from. So what is Soundplay Interactive all about, then?
(Trevor Dikes) “The primary focus for Soundplay Interactive is to establish a company that puts value and passion into the design and development of video games creating a fun, social and emotional reaction from the player. I also want to help other developers who currently don’t have access to suitable audio solutions, by providing services, scaled in size and costs that allow them to have the best possible audio solutions for their projects”
Soundplay Interactive is currently working on a few projects, mainly their debut mobile game which started out at this year's Melbourne Global Game Jam in January, and they're also designing and producing audio for a Daijabo Games mobile title called "Hunters & Collectors". Also in the works is a music and sound effect package for the Unity 3D Asset Store which I'm certain many indie developers will find very handy.
So, if you're looking for audio and music for your project, why not hit up Soundplay Interactive to see what they can do for you!
