About the market 

We sell into infrastructure, major construction and asset owners like railways, airports, defence and utilities. The infrastructure construction industry is 14% of the $96T global GDP, and we are expanding into that space. 

About you 

You are a proven technology leader and structured professional with over 10 years of experience and success.  

You have deep and extensive experience in Unreal Engine, 3D maths and physics.  

You have led and managed a team to achieve great things. 

You understand the importance of robust technology solutions as well as working in a commercial framework. 

You are ambitious to scale and grow your career and our company.  

You are structured and systematic. 

You have a heart and are interested in making a difference to the world through environmental planning, reconstruction from disasters, and saving the planet. This is not a game to sell merch, nor a gambling program to corrupt and enslave minds. This is a planning simulator to reconstruct the future.   

 

A day in your life with us 

  • Design and deliver robust, quality solutions to budget 

  • Quoting of prices and milestones across projects 

  • Work with CEO on solution design to win quality and repeatable revenue 

  • Deliver project solutions on time, to scope and on budget  

  • Support Production with systems that drive the corporate agenda 

  • Build and manage a scalable high-performance team 

  • Work and deliver to leadership instructions 

  • Document workflows, code, systems, and solutions for legacy 

  • Client engagement and management to drive commercial successes 

  • Maintain a sustainable, reliable, low-cost, tech system 

  • Support the development team with problem solving and upskilling  

About the role 

The role will be involved delivering robust technology solutions to meet internal and external customer and market segment needs. 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Game Development, or any related course 
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in software development and computer graphics  
  • 10 years’ experience in the commercial application 
  • Team leadership and management 
  • Solid understanding of the visual effects pipeline 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills  
  • Ability to solve advanced problems in complex situations 
  • Self-starter, confident and result-focused 
  • Structured and systematic 

Where is it: 

This is a full-time role in our friendly, central Melbourne CBD office on Bourke Street opposite Parliament Station and a tram stop. Some WFH flexibility is negotiable.
