Graphic Designer / Motion Designer

Digital Lode is an immersive media company located in the Docklands Cotton Mills, Footscray.  We are a team of VR evangelists creating the stealth shooter Espire 2 for the Meta Quest 2.



We are looking for a Graphic Designer with a flair for futuristic design. We have a preference for applicants who have motion graphics experience.

You will be responsible for interface design, futuristic iconography for corporations and military hardware and splash screens. For the right candidate, you will also be responsible for Holographic motion graphics,  This is estimated to be a 3-6 week contract, with potential for more ongoing work. We are a hybrid workspace, you can work onsite or remote as you need.

Responsibilities

• Fictional Logo creation
• Wayfinding Signage seen in the game
• In Game Iconography & HUD elements
• Near Future Display Design
• Splash & Loading Screen Layout
• Marketing Asset production

Requirements

• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
• Creative and futuristic portfolio
• A proactive and problem solving attitude
• Ability to self manage, prioritise and work to deadlines
• Work well within a team environment
• Must have a valid ABN

Preference to applicants with

• Prior experience with Game development software
• Prior experience with Motion graphics
