reminds me of something im working on at the moment :)

too bad you didnt get it finished and entered-
are you still going to finish it?
main crit, feather texture is very cloned- but i guess thats early :)

yeah i prolly will finish it, but texturing will be a bitch,
gonna redo the feathers as separate models using ik for each one
i keep wanting to animate my models before i even finish modelling/texturing them

It looks a little empty around the neck - just wondering, do Gryphons have manes (like a lion). Well, seeing as no ones ever seen one, then it can if you want it too.

If not a mane, then maybe some neck feathers?

just looking at the only gryphon reference i have (art of warcraft book) and they do have mane/neck feathers.

yeah they have manes, eagles head wings and front legs with lions body back legs and a mane.

Female gryphons have a rare and untreatable case of lycanthropy (or in lamans terms excessive hair growth), therefore it is very hard to tell females from males because they both have manes. [:P]
