Concept Artist

Responsibilities:

·Create 2D concept art depicting game elements such as characters, environments, weapons, items, vehicles, HUD, UI and fonts for an Xbox 360 action game

·Define colour palettes for game elements and ensure an overall consistency with the established Art Direction

·Other art related tasks as deemed necessary by management

Minimum Requirements:

·2 years game mod experience or equivalent study\self study demonstrating exceptional knowledge, ability and talent

·Mind-blowing portfolio

·Must follow direction, openly seek feedback regarding work and be receptive to constructive criticism

·Proficient experience with standard 2D Software packages (Photoshop)

·Understands the end user video game experience

·Ability to multitask, prioritize and work effectively within deadlines

·High personal standards as demonstrated in quality and pride of work

·Impeccable sense of quality and an unrelenting desire to create AAA quality entertainment experiences for gamers worldwide

Preferred requirements:

·Strong foundation in the traditional arts

·Knowledge of the game development process and production pipelines

·Understanding of multiple game genres and art styles and a breadth of knowledge of popular media (comics, movies, tv, games)

·Unreal Engine 3 experience considered a plus
