Term: Contract Position (3-6 months)
Location: Melbourne

Simulated Training Systems is looking for a talented game developer to join our team developing simulations and serious games for industry.

This is an exciting opportunity to push the boundaries of traditional gaming genres building games that make a real difference.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Quest 3D or similar graphical authoring environments such as Virtools. You will need to be self driven and have strong problem solving skills. Superior programming/game authoring skills and an understanding of OO programming concepts a must. A broad skills base including exposure to other aspects of game development including 3D modelling a bonus. Quest 3D training will be provided to suitably qualified candidates that can demonstrate an ability to learn quickly and independently on-the-job.

This is a great opportunity to make a difference. As part of a small development team, you will be able to make the most of all your skills working on projects with a real social agenda.

The position is for a 3-6 month contract initially, with the opportunity to extend or renew later. This position offers flexible working hours in a great studio within a central Melbourne location. Part Time applicants will also be considered.

Send a current resume and your Web based folio or show reel (on CD or DVD) to jobs@simulatedtrainingsystems.com or call Matt on 0403 924 820 for more information (if your folio or show reel includes movies, please ensure they are encoded using only standard codecs such as QuickTime, AVI or WMV).
