THQ STUDIO AUSTRALIA



THQ Studio Australia, based in sunny Brisbane, Australia, is a developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software. Founded in January 2003 as part of THQ Inc., THQ Studio Australia now employs more than 85 talented staff developing on all major console platforms, including Microsoft Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii. Project Manager



The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing task management on a project, ensuring production timelines are met, and establishing realistic task time estimates. This position will report directly to the Director of Production.

The Concept Artist will be responsible for designing, illustrating and creating 2D and/or 3D art assets. These can include character work, through environment and prop creation, graphic user interfaces and pre-visualizations. This position will report directly to the Lead Artist.

Senior Game Designer



The Senior Game Designer is responsible for creative writing, object placement and scripting/implementation of the world in a game structure. They must be capable of technical documentation outlining the theoretical application of game systems. This position will report directly to the Lead Designer.

Visual Effects Artist



We are looking for a talented Visual Effects Artist to join our team, someone that enjoys creating explosions, fire, smoke, dust, and steam. In this role you will create dynamic real-time special effects for a high definition action title. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail and an ability to bring life into in-game worlds through dramatic and dynamic effects using our proprietary technology. This position will report directly to the Lead Artist.
