Who's this Firemint mob?

Firemint is a world-leading developer for handheld devices. Our clients include EA Mobile, THQ Wireless, I-play, Disney and more. As well as working on flagship titles for publishers, we are developing our own IP, in particular Mega Monster which has just won the International Mobile Gaming Award for Excellence in 3D at 3GSM. We also developed EA's Madden '07 3D, which has won numerous awards including IGN's Editor's Choice, and the Game Developer's Association of Australia Best Mobile Game of 2006 award. Thanks to our close relationship with several leading hardware manufacturers, we're often working right at the cutting edge. We have a relaxed working environment in a converted warehouse in Richmond, with a focus on small, tight, excellent teams.

Who we're hoping you are:

You've got great 3D core skills, combined with at least one of 3D modelling, hand-painted texturing and/or animation. We're looking for someone who has their own unique creative style but can still follow art direction for specific brands. You'll be working on a wide variety of projects, from sports and racing to completely original games like Mega Monster. If you want to create mind-blowing art for the next generation of amazingly powerful hand-held devices, we want to talk to you. We will judge your application on the strength of your portfolio which will ideally demonstrate your ability to refine a concept as well as several highly polished, game-ready pieces. If you're extremely experienced, we'll try to make you an offer you can't refuse - if you are just starting out, we can give you some test pieces to try your hand at, please ask!

To apply, please send your resume and/or showreel (or showreel link) to hr@firemint.com, or by post to HR, Firemint, 5/41 Rose St, Richmond Vic 3121.Souri2007-07-24 23:38:42
