My client who are a leader in there filed require a Lead Programmer (C++) to join the existing IT team. Amazing and latest game titles.
Required Experience
?Essential to have solid knowledge of and deep experience in a wide range of technical game development areas
?Essential to have good communication and leadership skills
?Act with initiative and responsibility and be vigilant at all times in seeking improvement
?Ability to develop strategies to achieve departmental and company goals
?Essential to be an energetic and enthusiastic person
?Passionate about the future of video games
Required Qualification
?At least 5 years experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in management
?Senior involvement in a number of shipped products on various platforms
?Recognised Bachelor or higher degree in computer related subjects
Responsibilities
?Manage team members including carrying out reviews of programmers performance
?Schedule tasks (with other leads) in order to meet milestone requirements
?Prioritize and allocate tasks based on available resources and their priority
?Track task progress and report on status (including slippage as it occurs)
?Liaise with other programming leads and CTO to allocate programming resources
?Identify new resource requirements and recruit and interview to meet these requirements
?Interpret game design requirements to resolve them into technical designs
?Define technical direction / vision for projects (with the CTO)Souri2007-07-24 23:44:04
