Wellington, New Zealand - September 05, 2005 - Sidhe Interactive announced today that they will offer a tuition scholarship to the value of NZ$4,000 for students wishing to study on Media Design School's Graduate Diploma of Game Development.

Sidhe will award the scholarship to one first year student enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Game Development commencing 26 September 2005. All NZ citizen or permanent resident students currently enrolled in this intake will be eligible, along with any subsequent applicants who submit their application to Media Design School before 16 September 2005.
The scholarship will be based upon candidates' skills and abilities, motivations and evidence of financial hardship. Media Design School will match the value of the scholarship for the student's second year of study.

The scholarship will give one worthy recipient the chance to pursue a career as a game artist or game programmer," said Caroline Booth, Media Design School's Marketing Communications Manager.
Media Design School's 16 month Graduate Diploma of Game Development is the only qualification of its kind in New Zealand that offers such specialized games focused training.
