Digital Media Internship Program Information Night

Film Victoria?s Digital Media Fund presents a FREE information seminar for its Digital Media Internship Program on Wednesday 4 October at 6.30 PM.

The Digital Media Internship (DMI) program enables professional screen industry practitioners and graduates to gain valuable on-the-job experience in a digital media company. Through their placement, the interns develop their craft and technical skills under the supervision of skilled personnel, as well as building their professional networks and experience. Host companies represent a broad range of screen-industry related production including game development, post production and animation.

For new graduates, the DMI program is a proven way for securing a job in the media industry and for those already working in the industry, to take the next step in their careers.

Come to the FREE Digital Media Internship program information seminar to find out about the 28 week internship placements and the benefits of hiring interns.

Presentations by three host companies and one intern involved in last year?s program will give you the chance to hear about the program from individuals who have direct experience in it.

The evening will also provide a great opportunity for hosts to ?scout? for potential interns among the many internship candidates who will attend.

Film Victoria invites digital media companies specialising in broadband, game development, visual FX, post production and animation to attend this information event to find out how they can benefit.
