I'm happy to announce that Krome Studios have sponsored Sumea Launchpad for another year! Krome's continuing sponsorship means that we will be able to keep on doing what we do here, such as focussing on local game developer news and events, job openings, competitions, activities, giving exposure to local talent through our free member profile service, and providing a helpful community.
Krome's sponsorship has enabled Sumea to migrate to a bigger server in America, which, apart from only a few minor hitches and adjustments, was a fairly headache free transition. The new hosting plan means that I don't have to worry about webspace for a little while (Sumea has five times more webspace than previous - a total of 500mbs), more bandwidth to give out, and a lot more other options for me to make the site even better for everyone. For those who found the image uploading process rather complicated before, give it another shot. It's *much* simpler now! :)
A lot of work goes into maintaining Sumea, and there are a lot more improvements left to do, and it's definately great to not have to worry about website costs, so thanks again to Krome Studios!
