The Sumea News Team

Thanks for everyone that applied for the news editing job for Sumea. If I had it my way, I'd hire you all, but sponsorship dollars only stretch so far! There certainly was an influx of offers, some applicants were way too over qualified for this job, but it's been gratifying to see so many people interested in the industry and wanting to be a part of Sumea.

I had previously planned on taking one or perhaps two editors, but I've decided that three news editors would be even greater. These editors will be writing articles and conducting interviews on behalf of Sumea, as well as making the occasional news item post.

I do realise that Sumea has been neglecting the content side of the site for a while, and since Sumea has the opportunity (and the expectation) to provide more informative content on industry issues as well as the people behind the games industry, it's hoped that our new team can provide all that and more to you.

The team includes Chris Bowden (who you'll know as a Sumea regular as Brain), Mark Riley (Tempest), and Christopher Taylor, so I hope you'll welcome them on board, and appreciate their efforts in making Sumea even better!

Ok, so no comments, slack gits
I think it's a great idea that Sumea introduces its own content, rather than just reporting others. To me it seems like a big step and should be encouraged.
