Organisations, community groups and venues around Canberra are gearing up to host an exciting line-up of events for the Canberra Games Festival. This celebration of interactive entertainment and games is sure to liven up the Nations Capital throughout the month of July.
The theme 'More than you Imagine?is aimed at highlighting how major corporations, government, military institutions, foundations, educators and non-profit organisations are applying use of games and games technology as an exciting new approach to problem solving and advancing organisational needs.
The Festival program will include a broad range of public and school events including computer game short courses, open days, High School LAN competitions, role play, strategic and tactical activities, board games, simulations, demonstrations and a whole lot more.
Program details and information about times and venues will be available from June on the official Canberra Games Festival Website www.canberragamesfestival.com. In the mean time check out the website and add yourself to the mailing list to receive updates on the Festival. Organisations and Community groups can also register an event as part of the Official Program. Just follow the Event Holder links from the Home Page.
