Blue Tongue scores big at E3 with De Blob

Company

Congratulations are in order for Blue Tongue Entertainment for landing a fair few The Best of E3 nominations at Gametrailers.com in the categories of Most Innovative Game, Best New Franchise, and Best Wii Game for their innovative "part Katamari, part colouring book" game called De Blob.

And although the Melbourne developers didn't take out any of those titles, being nominated is a huge achievement in itself as those categories were filled with some incredibly heavy duty games such as WiiFit, LittleBigPlanet, Metroid Prime 3, and Super Mario Galaxy. It's certainly not a bad bunch of games to be lumped with, that's for sure!
If you haven't seen video of De Blob yet, I implore you to check it out. It looks *amazing*, and incredibly fun too. Here, I've embedded a youTube video of it for some of you lazy folk!

There's also a pretty cool E3 demonstration by someone, I'm guessing from Blue Tongue, at youTube..

Here's another presentation, describing some of the characters and showing the intro to the game. It looks *great*

Yeah, I thought this looked "familiar." Kudos to BT for making a commercial concept out of it ;).
