Fury Receives E3 2006 Award

Company

www.mmorpg.com gave Auran's Fury their E3 2006 "Most Surprising" Award. The MMORPG, which apparently runs on the Unreal 3 Engine, came out of the left field and impressed the website editors with it's "jaw dropping graphics"...

All we knew about Fury going into E3 was what their Public Relations firm had told us. The game was announced when their website became public just in advance of E3. The graphics were pretty and the description not so bad, but really, no one expects much from a company that has never before done an MMORPG.

Then we saw it. Carolyn Koh penned our E3 Preview based on what she saw. Besides jaw dropping graphics, the game is very much player vs. player centric, but in a way that might well be friendly to the average North American gamer. Obviously, the company has a global vision for their product, but as more and more companies try and design games for everyone, this is not uncommon.
