There's an interesting article over at the Financial Review on the thriving Australian games industry, which also reveals some of the grip that investors and publishers have on the local developers here. Chris Mosely, previously the chief executive and founder of Blue Tongue, had this to say about the current state of the industry...
"The Australian games industry is reaching critical mass. It's actually at a very important turning point right now. You need a large successful industry to bring in the overseas publishers in order to win contracts."
