Catapult v1.41 in 4 Weeks Time

Nocturnal Entertainment will release Catapult v1.41 in about 4 weeks time. This will be the first non-beta release, and includes some major changes over the previous release:

- Catapult Standard Library (CSL) will be fully integrated into the IDE, and will be available for use with all projects.

- 'Session' files have been introduced, and will restore Catapult to a previous state when any project is opened.

- The image/tile editor has been revamped, and can be used to edit resources, create new images or edit tiles while running. The tile viewer also has support for animations.

To date, the current build has more than 150 improvements over the previous v1.40b release.

Nocturnal is also pleased to announce that it has entered into a three-way deal with the Melbourne International College (MIC) and Apple to develop a Macintosh (OS-X) version of Catapult. MIC will provide the funding, Apple will provide hardware, technical support and promotion.

Expect the first Macintosh (and Linux) Catapult releases before the end of the year.
