King Arthur Developer Diary #4

Company

In the final Gamespy developer diary on King Arthur, the movie licensed game from Krome Studios, James Podesta talks about implementing new technology and features into King Arthur...

"Once all the ragdoll was imbedded, the combat leapt forward, because now your different attacks would throw the enemies around in all kinds of wacky ways. We started adding traps like swinging logs that would impale the enemies as they hit them, and then throw their ragdoll bodies into the air afterwards. We added overhanging platforms in the terrain, and bridges over ravines, just to allow players to enjoy the fun of watching the woads bounce off the terrain as they died."
