Just a reminder to interstate people hesitant to get to Melbourne for the Free play: Next Wave Independant Game Developers Conference because of the costs involved of flying interstate that you *can* get travel subsidies. Preference is given to people who are bringing a demonstration game, game art, idea, initiative or innovation to share at the conference, and I'm sure you can help out with something! Apply anyway, the Free Play organisers have expressed that they want game dev enthusiasts from all around Australia to attend!
Also a reminder that tickets for the conference ARE NOW ON SALE through the ACMI Box Office and online. All pre-paid tickets will be available for collection on the day of the conference from the registration desk.
Tickets are ONLY AVAILABLE FROM ACMI Box Office, ACMI website and ACMI over the phone. Tickets cannot be purchased from Next Wave Office or Free-Play website. Make sure you don't miss out on a ticket and grab yours now!
