* Key sessions addressing major game development areas: Art, Game Design, Programming, Production, Audio, Mobile, Next Gen Handheld and Business Management
* Careers Market
* Expo
* Major competition
* Inaugural Conference Dinner, including the Adam Lancman Memorial Address
* Industry Awards
* Networking functions, including lunches, Cocktail Party, private dinners, Careers Market and Women in Games forum.
Whoo! Good to see some info finally starting to come out. Not looking to be quite as large as the AGDC, though I expect it will grow in years to come.
Wouldn't mind some speaker names to go along with the program though.
Whats it costs? And where are the tickets?
I know its a couple months away, but would be handy for group bookings, especially if you have to travel (ie all of us not in Qld :) ).
How can they not have prices a couple of months out, surely they know the numbers already. Still looking poorly organised if you ask me.
The registration fees have just been put up. Much cheaper than AGDC. I'm particularly glad to see relatively low fees for students as well.
Prices look pretty decent -any further info on the speakers? Are they local Aus industry or overseas?
Id especially like to know whos running the PS3 masterclasses - have been doing a fair bit with the IBM Cell SDk myself, would be quite interesting.
The Masterclasses are a great idea. Just like GDC. Should be fun. Not sure if you'll need an NDA or not though.
