Big update at the AGDC website. Early bird registrations are now open, along with accomodation info etc.
The schedule for the three day conference is up as well, revealing a very interesting list of topics and speakers. Overseas speakers include: "the Creative Director of Eidos Interactive UK; the visionary behind Microsoft- XBOX; Publishers of Tomb Raider, SIMS, Freedom Fighters and Lord of the Rings; the Age of Mythologies Lead Designer; the developers of Nokia N-Gage and much, much more."
Also, a call for abstracts for their "Academic summit":
"As part of the Australian Game Developers Conference 2003, the Academy of Interactive Entertainment will be holding Australia's First Electronic Game Academic Summit to showcase leading research and practice in the burgeoning electronic games area.
This exciting new event will examine video game theory, discuss essential ingredients in game education and explore the impact of interactive technology on Australian society."
