IGDA Melbourne Open Mic night

IGDA Melbourne have sorted out the schedule for the Open Mic night for next week (12th July). The developers who'll be talking about their work will be:

  • QBOY – Student Project (Student Presentation)
  • Swing Interactive – Student Project (Student Presentation)
  • Harry Lee – Current and future projects and Harry’s Jam (Student Presentation)
  • Wicked Awesome Pty Ltd – “The Adventures of James Chimp”
  • Anomolous Interactive – “Homemade Shooter” to “Slingshot Justice”
  • Chris Mackenzie – AdHatchers Advertising Agency
  • Trent Kusters – Introduction to “League of Geeks”
  • David Thompson - GameLoft Auckland update
  • Casper Pieters – 3 Part TV Series with a related Gaming Platform (He wants to pick your brains!)
  • Raptus Games – Starting a new Indie Studio, preview of first release ‘Draw’
  • David Coen – iOS Game Developer
  • Walk Through The Clock – First year as an Indie startup……phew!
  • PlayBit Entertainment – “Puzzle Treasure”

And if that doesn't seem enough, Paul Callaghan will be also talking about Freeplay, and Tony Reed from the GDAA will also discuss the R&D Tax Credits and how developers can take advantage of it. Sounds like an awesome event, so don't miss out!
