Xbox IGN interview on TY2 with Robert Walsh

Company

Robert Walsh, CEO of Krome Studios, has an interview with Xox IGN on Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue...

"IGN: What was your biggest design hurdle?

RW: The seamless world. Having these huge, lush environments as one continuous experience. We wanted to make Ty2 a far more immersive experience. Traditionally, platformers are very linear games. We wanted to step away from all of that linearity. Kids love to explore. That's one of the things we learned from the original Ty. Kids spent a lot of time looking at every nook and cranny of the game world so wanted to make sure we expanded on that experience."
