Glen Fiedler, known in our forums as Gaffer, has written a developer diary for IGN on Tribes: Vengeance. Glen is the senior programmer for Irrational Games and writes about his involvment in the project, from content management systems and building scripts, to the heavy stuff like movement physics.
"We have a physical model of movement that allows us to satisfy both new and veteran players, and its now just a case of tuning it and iteratively improving it until we ship. By applying a smart technical solution to a complex problem, we will be able to achieve the impossible - to satisfy both groups of players at the same time."
The screenshots showing off the vegetation in game look awesome, and the upcoming open beta is something definately to look forward to!!!
