Film Victoria's Digital Media Fund is now calling for applications to the Game Prototype Development Program. The Program supports the development of technical, innovative and creative prototypes for all platforms except mobile phones. Key program features include generous repayment terms for applicants and reduced participant contributions. New and small scale game developers are encouraged to apply.
The objective of the Game Prototype Development Program is to assist Victorian based game developers to produce technical, innovative and creative prototypes for market driven game titles in which they own the intellectual property (or a percentage of the intellectual property) and build sustainable businesses. All the development work for a prototype must be undertaken in Victoria and use Victorian talent for that prototype to be eligible for funding.
The closing date for submissions is 21st October 2004. Please visit http://www.film.vic.gov.au/programs/Program_Pages/DMF_Programs.shtml for our revised guidelines and application forms. Please contact Amelia King, Manager of the Digital Media Fund by emailing to amelia.king@film.vic.gov.au and discuss your project.
Pity it's only for people living in Victoria
