Opportunity For Digitial Media Companies To Employ A Funded Intern In 2005

FILM VICTORIA DIGITAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP FREE INFORMATION SEMINAR

Victorian digital media companies who would like the opportunity to employ a funded intern for seven months are strongly encouraged to attend Film Victoria?s free seminar on Tuesday 5 October 2004 at 6pm, for its 2005 Digital Media Internship program.

This seminar is a great opportunity for host companies to ?scout? for potential interns among the 100 who will attend. These include recent graduates of Victoria?s many digital media courses, as well as current professionals who are expanding their skills.

At the seminar potential host companies can find out how the internship program operates, receive details on the application process and hear from previous host companies and interns who have already successfully completed the program.

Once all applications are received, Film Victoria will carefully select the best applicants and match them to registered host companies.

The Digital Media Internship program is available to recent graduates of digital media, animation, design, computer game and related courses, as well as established practitioners in the film, television and digital media industries wishing to upgrade their skills on industry standard digital media software. Placements are available in a variety of positions throughout the industry, including VFX, CG animation, compositing and producing.
