FEE-HELP Opens the Door to Digital Careers at Qantm

Press Release
Qantm College announced yesterday that FEE‐HELP is now available for eligible students undertaking degree courses.

FEE‐HELP is a loan scheme which assists students to pay all or part of their tuition fees. The Australian Government pays the student's tuition fee to the College on behalf of the student, and students begin to repay their FEE‐HELP debt to the Australian Government once their income reaches a prescribed threshold. Guy Chandler, General Manager, made the following statement as part of the announcement.

"We're delighted that this new financing option is available to students, as it will allow more of them than ever to experience the best in Digital Media education. Qantm has worked hard to ensure we will be able to meet the increased demand for course places without compromising what our reputation is built on – our practical focus and specialised approach. We have always felt that the excellent outcomes we achieve for graduates is closely linked to our small classes and the individual attention we're able to give students. This will always be one of the advantages of studying with us."

The Digital Media Industry is also poised to grow, with recent Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) data showing year‐on‐year growth for the industry of around 15 percent. Applications are now open for Qantm's August and February intakes, occurring across all campuses.

They will need to if they want to keep in competition.

This Fee-Help program will draw a lot more prospective students to Qantm rather than the AIE.

They are expecting to get FEE-HELP quite soon I heard. Aka the admin lady in the melbourne office is holding off payments from students until confirmation about FEE-HELP has been received.

AIE only delivers VET courses (certificates and diplomas) and FEE-HELP is only available for Higher Education Courses (Bachelor Degrees etc.) If there telling you there getting FEE-HELP Something dodgy is going on because AIE don't meet the requirements set by the government.

AIE has applied for and expects to be eligible for VET-FEE HELP. They should
know in October and imagine that our 2009 February intake will be eligible
for this scheme which is an offshoot of the FEE HELP scheme. Students doing
our Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development-either art or
programming schemes--would be eligible.

Students doing our Advanced Diploma of Screen should also qualify.

According to mates they didn't get FEE-HELP, they had to apply for a extension on their student fees because AIE were delaying payments until they heard about FEE-HELP.
