Mid-level 2D / 3D art generalist

Chaos Theory is looking for a mid-level 2D / 3D art generalist to join our team in Ultimo, Sydney. The role is for 3-4 days a week on contract, with the possibility for extension.

Over the next few months, we are working on several exciting mobile games and activation projects that require someone with skills in 2D illustration, UI animation, and the whole 3D pipeline.

Experienced 2D Artist

Sydney-based game developer Not Doppler is seeking an experienced 2D Artist to join our team. The role will initially be focused on a new, in-development mobile game title.

Originally founded as a web games portal; in recent years we have shifted our focus to become mobile-first, publishing games such as the Earn to Die series and producing Tap Tap Dash.

2D Artist (contract/part-time) - Playcorp Studios

Playcorp Studios is searching for an enthusiastic and talented 2D artist with a passion for games, to work onsite at our office space located in Melbourne's city centre.

In this role you’ll be expected to concept a range of assets from characters, environments and props as well as create 2D artworks, including backgrounds, icons and other work as required by the project.

Junior 2D Artist (Part-time)

Mode Games is seeking a part-time 2D Artist for the production of art for our amazing games. The artist we seek must be able to draw characters and environments to suit the technical requirements for the development of art assets within games. The artist will also ideally have experience with the development of art for UI, with layouts and direction (for UI) based on a prototypes or wire-frame docs.

Entry level 2D art paid internship - Subtle Boom/Fledgling Heroes

Hello. Brendan and I, aka 'Subtle Boom' are looking to hire an art intern full time at entry level rates for 8 weeks beginning mid-late November. (With a Christmas/New Years break.) The job is onsite only, located in Teneriffe, Brisbane.

**Position Filled** 2D Artist/Animator

Junior/Midweight 2D Artist

Mode Games is seeking a 2D Artist to produce art based on concept drawings. The artist must be able to draw characters and environments to suit the technical requirements of creating art assets for in game and production ready. The Artist must be able to show their current portfolio with an extensive amount of drawn character and environment work, with a focus on art created for the development of games. The Artist will work closely with our Senior Concept Artist to guide the art production process to meet Modes especially high quality standards.

2D Artist (Part time)

We are looking for a talented 2D artist for a mobile app who is passionate about games, has a strong ability in illustration and animation, and works comfortably in an open team environment.

This position is a short term contract and candidates must be available part-time (1-2 days) for approx 6-8 weeks work alongside an experienced lead developer, junior developer, producer, designer, and a team of other creative professionals. There is a possibility of extension for the right candidate. Work is immediate start, on-site, in our Footscray office.

UI Artist (Contract)

Buy Somewhere is a Sydney-based games and technology studio working on its first mobile title, a genre-defining location-based game. To support this game, we're building market-leading world generation systems.

These are big goals, and our talented team needs a fast and talented UI Artist to help us create a smooth and dynamic user experience for our players. This is a 4 to 6 months contract to start, with possible extension into a full-time role.
