looking for 2D tutorial: metallic surfaces

I'm looking for a painting tutorial (traditional or digital) for rendering metallic/reflective surfaces. If anyone knows a good tutorial please post link.

Sounds like somebody needs to borrow my Ryan Church dvds, mainly the Rendering Matte Vehicle and Rendering Shiny Vehicles ones.
