Hipster Whale is an entirely independent Melbourne based studio, founded in 2014 by Matt Hall and Andy Sum. Hipster Whale’s first release, Crossy Road, has been downloaded more than 200 million times and was a truly global hit.

3D Art Generalist

At League of Geeks, we passionately devote ourselves to forging compelling and enduring experiences for our games. With some of the best concept artists amongst our ranks, we're now on the hunt for an exceptional 3D generalist to join our team. Candidates must possess the ability to create and finish appealing 3D models, across a broad range of needs, whilst utilising their experience to apply best practices in crafting real-time assets for games.

Mid Quality Assurance

At League of Geeks we’re known for the incredible high level of quality found in everything we touch, at the forefront of that principle are our internal quality assurance processes. As a central part of that, you will be working alongside the entire development team, seeing the full end-to-end process of delivering major updates and world-class experiences to our players. You will be tasked with ensuring our games’ releases and updates pass compliance testing across multiple platforms, as well as triaging bug reports from our ever growing community of players.

2D Artist (contract/part-time) - Playcorp Studios

Playcorp Studios is searching for an enthusiastic and talented 2D artist with a passion for games, to work onsite at our office space located in Melbourne's city centre.

In this role you’ll be expected to concept a range of assets from characters, environments and props as well as create 2D artworks, including backgrounds, icons and other work as required by the project.
