3D Artist

Texturing is my biggest weakness so I decided to create this stylised sword in order to improve my texturing. I created the concept myself, which was a lot of fun. Hand painting is in my opinion the best way to improve your texturing because it forces you to attempt to understand how lighting reacts to different objects and how shadows are created etc. I've decided that from now on I' going to hand paint all of my models to improve my texturing. I've also decided that I'm going to create the concepts for all my models myself as I feel more accomplished and 2D carries over to 3D. I also enjoy drawing so that's a plus. Lastly I understand that this is far from the best hand painted texture out there but I have a desire to constantly improve and so I will.

I made this character for a University project. She is mean't be dead because she overdosed on drugs.

I’ve always been interested in sharks ever since I was young so it was no surprise that I would eventually model one. This was the first time that I sculpted something from scratch in Zbrush and I really enjoyed the experience. The shark wasn’t for any project it was just for personal practice. Overall I am happy with the finished result and I am glad that my texturing is improving.

I am looking for an internship that will not only help me further develop my skills in 3D modelling and environments, but also help me to complete an 80 hour requirement for my Bachelor course. I live in South Brisbane and use the following programs:

My core skills are in 3D Modelling however I can do basic animations if needed.
