IGDA Brisbane is making a call for expressions of interests for a new Freeplay inspired event called Foreplay to Freeplay. They've locked in one day for the event with a possibility of making it run for an extra day, but they want your input for any ideas or suggestions you may have, or if you're interested in taking part in any way...
At the moment we plan a couple of local Game Dev speakers and a whole slew of short sharp challenges, possibly some workshops and definately an opportunity to show and tell and beta test both ideas and the barely working prototype. Have you always wanted to present at Freeplay or GCAP (or even something more highbrow) but prefer a nice intimate practice space first ? Let us know what you would like to talk about! Do you have a game in progrees that really isn't ready for a public beta but you want to show it off and play test the raw state at the moment?
