Got this from Polycount, but it's an interview with one of the artists who worked on Doom 3.. lots of stuff about the artistic work on that project, modelling, normal mapping, Lightwave etc... [url="http://www.newtek-europe.com/uk/community/lightwave/menard/1.html"]a great read[/url] [:)]

It's interesting to read that he had to do the low polygon versions from scratch.. >.<
