I am doing a school subject called Extension Studies, and I have just found out that I need to find myself a mentor/expert who is able to lend a hand to me throughout the year. The topic I am working on as my extension study, is computer game development. I was linked to this site back when I was working on an entry for the ScreenIt! competition last year.
There is no one in my town with any knowledge in the field, and there would not be much involved as I have many years experience in the field as a hobbyist. (There is no need to get together in person either). I currently specialise in C++ with OpenGL, OpenAL and the Ageia PhysX API's. My mentor does not need to specialise in any of these, they just need to know a bit about the process of creating a computer game.
If there is anyone out there who would kindly take on the position, please PM me your name and email address, the course is rather unorganised at my school, so I only just got the forms I need to fill out, and they are due in a few days
