Our ideal candidate is an experienced programmer with a desire to contribute to the design and implement code that will create an unforgettable experience for all who play our games. You must have prior experience implementing and polishing character controls, camera, combat, weapons, or NPC actors. If you live to create code that will entertain millions of people then we want to talk to you.

Skills Required:

? Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science
? At least 3 years of industry experience
? At least 1 shipped title
? Expert C++ skills
? Desire to work on top quality console games
? Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

? Contribute to the design and implementation of an unforgettable end user experience
? Work with the design team and Technical Director to design new features
? Work with the Lead Programmer to deliver high quality code on time
? Work within and communicate with a large team

Graphics Programmer (THIS OPENING HAS BEEN FILLED)

Pandemic Studios Australia is looking for a Graphics Programmer for our next game. We plan on outdoing our UK and US chart topper Destroy All Humans! ? and you can be a part of the programming team.

Our ideal candidate is a programmer who has experience writing efficient code and impressive graphics effects for PS2 and Xbox. You must enjoy pushing graphics to the edge and further raising the quality of our games. If you dream about pixels, polygons, hardware tricks, and how to use them to outdo Half-Life 2?s graphics scores, we want to talk to you.

Skills Required:

? Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science
? Minimum of 3 years industry experience
? At least 1 completed PS2 title as a Graphics Programmer
? Extensive knowledge of the PS2 architecture, MIPS and VU assembly, and DMA.
? Good knowledge of Direct3D 8.0, vertex and pixel shader languages a plus
? Desire to work on top quality console games
? Excellent C++ skills
? Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

? Be responsible for improving and refining the current graphics engine for both PS2 and Xbox
? Work with the Technical Director and art team to implement tools and process improvements
? Work with designers, artists and programmers to develop new game-play effects
? Work within and communicate with a large team
