Games dev talk in New Zealand

"Mario Wynands, Managing Director of Sidhe Interactive and Acting President of the NZGDA, will be presenting a talk entitled "The Business Of Playing Games" at the New Zealand Computer Society Wellington branch lunch on 30 January.

The presentation will cover the global videogame market which has exploded in recent years as gaming has become a mass market pastime, and is now generating more than US$10 billion in annual revenues worldwide. The talk will look into how the industry works, and will investigate what opportunities there are for New Zealand in this space."
