Adrenaline Vault has a GREAT article on a new start-up in New Zealand called Binary Star. Stephen Woodward and Thomas Reimann reveal the avenues they took to get funding, finding their team, and setting up their office. There's also some very good advice in there if you're planning to go the same route.
