GDAA Newsletter 16 Released

The latest GDAA (Game Developers' Association of Australia) Newsletter has just been released. In this edition, you'll find lots of bits on the local industry, including an AGDC 2005 overview, the AGDC Awards results, and a report on the unsigned games at the AGDC. The newsletter starts with GDAA President and CEO, Evelyn Richardson, outlining the vision that the GDAA hopes to help achieve by 2010 for the local games industry...

Our vision going forward is that by 2010 we?ve:
? doubled the size of our industry numbers to at least 2000 people
? have game exports exceeding $500m per annum
? attract local and international investment into our industry totalling $300m per annum
? create and retain a considerable portfolio of IP while also producing large scale products
? and are recognised as a global centre of game development excellence.
