Broadband woes and Industry a go go!

As the IT industry crumbles, the games industry is still doing the opposite.. smh.com.au writes:

"The value of Australian shipments of console and PC games each rose 22 per cent last financial year, to $250 million and $105 million respectively, according to market analysts Inform.

Despite a 12 per cent slide in the shipment of PC controllers such as joysticks, overall growth was a healthy 43 per cent, up to $684 million, from $480 million the previous year."

And due to our craptacular broadband options here in Australia, our online gaming future will reach the limits of 'suckiness' according to smh..
