Just goes to show that Australia CAN make a successful original IP and WILL continue to in future. I couldn't be happier with the result... well, maybe I could if I was the one that came up with Puzzle Quest =0P

There've been some great titles this year, but this really was the year for Puzzle Quest, and it was great to see Puzzle Quest get the acclamation it deserved at the awards dinner. And it couldn't happen to a better bloke than Steve Fawkner! We have his presentation from Game Connect on video, and we'll be uploading it soon, but his passion and enthusiasm for games in it is very apparent. It was interesting to hear his thoughts on some of the social networking aspects in thriving game / communities like Habbo hotel (or what Phil Harrison from Sony would term as Game 3.0 e.g littlebigplanet), and so it'll be interesting to see if there'll be any influence of that in any future Infinite Interactive games.
