Destroy All Humans! in the Herald Sun

There's a tiny article over at the Herald Sun on Pandemic Studios' Destroy All Humans! which has some interesting tidbits on the locally produced title...

"Australian Derek Proud, who is the senior producer for the game, says it was produced in Brisbane for Pandemic Studios and using an all-Australian team.

"Americans love working with Australians. We are imaginative, we are creative and we are producing some excellent talent in both art and programming," Proud says.

"I think that the Australian games community is going to get bigger and bigger which is a real bonus for us here."

Destroy All Humans! has already made the top 10 gaming lists around the world thanks to its unique brand of humour and game play.

I'm confused about the comment that it was an "all-Australian team". I thought it was, but according to this article

    http://music.ign.com/articles/628/628770p1.html

the music was composed by an American.

    Confusing!

No need to be confused. An Aussie team did make Destroy All Humans! right here in Australia.

A lot of American films have Aussie lead actors - Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Geoffrey Rush, Toni Colette, etc. but are still American films. Conversely most Aussie games usually have an international contribution - be it voice actors, music, middleware, overseas artists or programmers, etc. but are still made here in Australia by Australians.
