Next event: What, who, when, where

WHAT: A BBQ in the park with chat, food, drink, and the games we play off the screen. Bring something to eat or drink, toss it all on the barbie, and spend a sunny afternoon. We want this to be a big event, our biggest yet, so come meet everybody, and bring more!
WHO: Anyone with an interest in the game development industry, and especially friends and family.
WHEN: Sunday, 26 February, from 11AM until dusk. (That?s *two weeks* from the time that this was posted.)
WHERE: South Bank park (with The Plough Inn our refuge if it rains). See details below.
FINDING US: We will keep sending runners to find all those looking for us. The runner will have an ?IGDA? balloon and will keep checking at the spot described below.

Where

We will dominate a barbie somewhere in the park. Come to the grassy slope next to the ?Central Cafes?, or just look about until you see people under IGDA balloons. If raining, you can see The Plough Inn marked on the South Bank map boards all about the place.
There is plenty of paid parking at South Bank, and some free if you come early.

Food and drink

We are but a humble organization and we cannot feed the masses. Please try to bring a little bit of food or drink to share. We will provide cups, plates, napkins, cutlery, and BBQ tools.
Feel free to use this thread to announce what you are bringing so we do not end up with seventeen plates of Turkish Delight and nothing else.

Games!

Please bring any fun games to play? and NO Gameboys! bowling, frisbees, dominos, lawn darts, fiery hula hoops, whatever you like.
If you want to swim, bring togs and sunscreen and such. We won?t all gather in the pools but they are also very nice.
