About the Studio

The Creative Assembly, a SEGA-owned studio, is looking for talented, motivated individuals who are passionate about making great games. We facilitate a collaborative team environment because we believe that to produce the best games, we must give our teams creative ownership and be constantly improving the environment we work in.

Establised in 2002, The Creative Assembly’s Brisbane studio comprises around 70 staff and is known most for producing Total War titles, such as Medieval II: Total War.

Senior Gameplay Programmer

Do you love the challenge of designing and implementing great gameplay? Are you an experienced programmer who enjoys working in collaborative multi-disciplinary teams? The Creative Assembly is currently seeking a passionate and creative senior gameplay programmer for our upcoming next-gen sports title.

Requirements

· Passion for playing games and designing gameplay systems
· 5+ years of game coding experience
· Previous experience designing gameplay systems for next-gen games
· Fluency in C++ and knowledge of scripting languages
· Strong mathematics, in particular 3D geometry
· Desire to work collaboratively in a team environment

Pluses

· Computer science/mathematics/physics or related degree
· Experience leading a small multi-discipline gameplay team
· Experience in rapid prototyping and agile methodologies
· Samples of personal home projects
