When it was noticed that L.A Noire had slipped to a 2009 release date back in 2007, many would have hoped to see some showing of the thriller / detective game by the time E3 popped up this year. Unfortunately, publisher Rockstar has confirmed to Eurogamer that they'll be showing nothing at all at the event, so a glimpse of the highly anticipated Team Bondi game is highly unlikely.
What is even more curious is that those eagle eyed people at Rockstarwatch.net have noticed that L.A Noire isn't listed in Rockstar's plans of game releases this year during their recent second quarter 2009 results announcement. Could this mean L.A Noire is being pushed back further to 2010?

Who shall release first!!!
I'm sure Team Bondi are
I'm sure Team Bondi are working hard to finish their game.
But it's better not to announce products or release teaser trailers on them until they're close to definately being shipped. As of right now the game hasn't shipped but a teaser trailer for it was released in late 2006 (nearly 3 years ago). In comparison that's like showing a trailer for GTA4 in 2005. The debut trailer for GTA4 was shown in early 2007 (roughly 12 months before the game shipped) and it actually showed a lot of in-game footage.
Team Bondi have promoted a game to potential customers (all of us), now it's well overdue to deliver on that promise.
Well said.

Maybe they are changing publishers.
