Casual pixel art work for mobile game
We are currently in the planning stage for a new mobile phone game project.
The original artwork will be developed by our client as vector art - we need to have this artwork converted to bitmap art, reduced in size and cleaned up accordingly.
The graphic requirements for the game are quite limited, so the work required is likely to be less that one week.
If the project goes ahead (not yet confirmed), the work will need to be completed in the first week of March 2006.
Please provide links to or send examples of pixel artwork you have completed. Any experience/knowledge of mobile phone artwork will be considered favourably.
Please send emails or questions to kevan@3rdmill.com.au.
Regards
Kevan Stannard

THQ in 2006
First of all let me say that it's depressing and disappointing to see the recent closures of Perception and Ratbag happen in Australia; it does nothing for investment and Product Dev confidence in the region. With all the recent difficulties, can I just add that THQ are still, successfully, growing and investing in people and products here downunder. From local development (Studio Oz, Blue Tongue) to publishing (Sega, Pandemic, Tantalus, Half Brick), we want to offer the opportunity to grow with us, so if you're looking at your next job option and have the skills to back up the rhetoric, use our links here on Sumea;
