The AIE Seattle Skills Center classes for the Seattle Schools District enable committed high school students from around the city to study animation and game design in exchange for high school credit. The two semesters per year program introduces them to a number of contemporary industry skills, including:
2D Digital Animation,
CG Game Design/Animation/Programming,
Team-based Animated Filmmaking and
Animated Graphic Novel creation.

CosGame 2012 - Guinness World Record Attempt
The current record for "Largest Crowd dressed as video games characters" is 470 participants and was achieved by The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (Australia) in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on 5th May 2012.
Congratulations to the AIE Melbourne staff members, students and participants for making this possible. This is an amazing achievement for those involved. Thank you to everyone for working together to make this happen and for putting up with the wonderful Melbourne weather.

Meet three teams in AIE's Incubator Program: Evil Aliens (Canberra), Dancing Dinosaur Games (Melbourne) and Red Knight Games (Sydney)
A VFX assignment by six 2nd year screen students at AIE Sydney over a 5 week period.
The protagonist is running for his life through a futuristic landscape. Although, everything is not as it seems!
Students aged between 10 and 15 created their own epic tale as part of the Minecraft Movie Maker Holiday Short course.
Developing the story and the environment themselves, the students brought to life the battle between arch rivals, the ICE and LAVA people.
